…I saw Daylon Wear & The Classic Cowboys last night...they're a band that mostly plays the oldies but goodies of popular country classics, leaning heavily towards Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Bob Dylan, Charlie Rich, Glen Campbell, Charley Pride, to name a few.  Later in the evening they throw in some early classic rock tunes as well like Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, and even Eagles, Allman Brothers, etc.  They really cut loose at the end of the night. You can tell everyone’s having a great time.  This band features Freefalls/Navarre recording star and former Johnny Cash family member Daylon Wear (What’s She Doing In Denver/Billboard Album Review).  He’s dressed like a young 'Dwight Yoakam', wearing tight leather pants with fancy boots, a tight shirt under a Nashville/Opry style decked-out jacket, sporting a renegade outlaw hat. He sings and swaggers across the stage with an old Gibson acoustic guitar, and sometimes plays piano and mandolin. The rest of the band is dressed sharp, but they all have one thing in common...they all are dressed in the same color, except for the singer. Which I think is a cool thing.
