Daylon is a highly accomplished, talented songwriter, performer, and multi-instrumentalist of several genres of music including Country and Rock and Roll. Daylon grew up in the heart of Texas. He attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor on a music scholarship. His first nightclub performance was at the age of 11 years old. The organizations and people with whom Daylon have worked or performed are far too many to list. Some include Asylum Records, Columbia Records, MCA Records, Sony Music, Warner Brothers Records, and Warner Chappell Music, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw. 

Noteworthy: Former son-in-law to Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Signed to country legend Charlie Prides publishing company The Pride Music Group in the 1990's / Nashville, TN. Signed to Willie Nelson's label Freefalls Entertainment with debut cd release Texas Twister in the 2000's.

Daylon's hit song 'Hurt City' written by (Daylon Vernon Wear, Bill LaBounty) was recorded by blue eyed soul singer Bill Medley from the Legendary Righteous Brothers fame on Medley's Damn Near Righteous album, Daylon's cover song 'Rockin' In The Free World' written by (Neil Young) was featured on the Howard Stern Show Sirius XM, Daylon performed a special concert with the well-known band Iron Butterfly at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, more recent, Daylon records brand new studio album of 15 original songs with Grammy winning musician friends from Nashville, TN and Las Vegas, NV.

Daylon Wear's live release "D.F.D.S. Live in Europe Solo" has had 1,774,243 (almost 2 million) streams on Spotify alone.  

This release is a captured solo performance during a tour in Scandinavia of just Daylon singing with an acoustic guitar.
