BIOGRAPHY

Daylon Wear is an East Texas native that plays and sings a little bit of everything from blues, to rock, to country. He has written songs for many artists including Stacy Dean Campbell and Pat Haney. He has also written and performed with some of the biggest songwriters around, including Don Schlitz, Johnny Cash, Bob Dipiero, Charlie Pride, Bill Labounty, Bill Monroe, John Jarrard, Van Stephenson, and many more. Fellow songwriter/actor friend Alex Harvey helped Daylon land his first publishing deal in the early 90’s, which led to future publishing deals with Warner Bros and working with country record producers Byron Gallimore, Doug Johnson, and Tracy Gershon. In Oct. of 1999 his first single, What She's Doing In Denver on EnvoyDiscs charted in Gavin  and garnered two rave reviews in Billboard.   In May of 2001 his debut Texas Twister, was released nation wide on Freefalls/Navarre. He toured numerous Casinos and Cruise Ships after his release, and attended several radio shows.
